We host a Citizens Police Academy to educate residents about the inner workings of our Department.
Furthermore, our officers are very active in neighborhood watch groups and hold board positions in numerous civic and business organizations.
However, quality community programs aren't just limited to adults.
New Bern police officers operate a Summer Day Camp, as well as the award-winning Young Marines program.
